Step Pricing for Sides

Step Pricing allows the user to increase or decrease the price of a side depending on how many sides are ordered for the menu item

For example, let's say the first side a customer orders costs $3.00, the 2nd side costs $2.50, and all sides after that cost $3.00. This is where step pricing comes in.

Selecting your Food Item

Select Menu Setup from the top bar of the home screen. Go to Food Items and choose Edit Food Items.

Then search for and select the Food Item you wish to enable Step Pricing on, you will be redirected to the General Info Tab.

On the General Info Tab, check the Sides Step Pricing box. This will enable Step Pricing.

Select the Prices tab, then Sides. On the right hand side of the screen you will see five boxes, each assigned a number between 1 and 5.

The number is the the amount of sides a customer orders per menu item, and the white box below determines the price the customer pays per side.

for example, if $3.00 is inserted into the first box, and $2.00 is inserted into the second box, then the first side ordered will charge $3.00, and the second side order will charge $2.00, for a total of $5.00 for both sides.

note: any additional sides chosen after the fifth step will be the price of the fifth step

As you can see here, Rice and Beans, the first side, costs $3.00; a Side of Rice, the second side, cost $2.00; and the third side, Side of Beans, costs $1.00.
