In order for an employee to do cash sales, pay table orders, or perform any other operation related to cash handling, they must have access to a cash drawer. Cash drawers must be assigned daily.
To assign cash drawers, select Manager Menu from the top bar of the home screen. Then go to Cash Drawers and choose Assign Cash Drawers.
Select the cash drawer you want to assign from the list on the left, and then check the boxes next to the employees that will be using that cash drawer.
Click the Assign Drawer button at the bottom of the screen.
A message box will pop up detailing who was assigned to what drawer.
Unchecking employees names will un-assign them from the drawer.
NOTE: You cannot remove the last person from a cash drawer.
If you no longer need the cash drawer assigned, you should check it out instead.
